Frequently Asked Questions

Account & Access

How do I get access to CllrWay?

Your council administrator invites you via your Microsoft work or personal account email address. You will receive an email from Microsoft asking you to accept the invitation. Once accepted, you can sign in at cllrway.com.

I can't sign in – what should I do?

Make sure you are using the same Microsoft account email address that the invitation was sent to. If you still cannot sign in, contact your administrator or email support@cllrway.com.

Can I use CllrWay on my phone?

Yes. CllrWay is a responsive web app and works on modern mobile browsers. Visit cllrway.com in your phone's browser. There is no separate app to install.

Cases

What is a chaser?

A chaser is an automatic reminder attached to a case. You set a due date and optionally choose a trigger condition (e.g. the case is still open). CllrWay will send you an email when the chaser is due, so nothing falls through the cracks.

How do I categorise a case?

When creating or editing a case you can choose a category from the dropdown. Categories are managed under Settings → Categories. CllrWay can also suggest a category automatically based on the case description.

Can I attach documents to a case?

Yes. Open the case and use the Documents tab to upload files. Documents are stored securely in Azure Blob Storage and are only accessible to authorised members of your team.

Email

How do I connect my email account?

Go to your Profile → Email Settings. You can connect via OAuth (recommended for Microsoft 365 / Outlook accounts) or by entering custom SMTP details for other providers.

Will residents see my personal email address?

Emails are sent using the address you configure in your email settings. You control which address residents see.

Billing

How is billing managed?

Billing is managed through Stripe. Subscription details and invoices are available under Admin → Billing. Only the account owner can access billing settings.

What happens when a trial expires?

At the end of your trial period you will be prompted to enter payment details to continue. Your data is retained and no cases are deleted during this process.
